This
house is made of schist, with oak and chestnut - tree wood framing
and whitewashed wall plaster and the building fits in the typical
architecture of the region of Trás-os-Montes. It has
two storeys and a interior yard and a balcony in the front elevation.
The family and the other farm workers lived in the upper storey
whilst the lower one was occupied by cattle stables, cellar
and a barn. |
